Okay gang...
I'm a huge fan of soda/pop/whatever you call it. I'm aching for some American Mt. Dew, and wanting to try the new flavors, certainly. And I miss Cream Soda. *But* I'd love to also try cool sodas from other places around the world.

Send me some. I'm in Japan and can send you some wacky Japanese stuff you want. I will *not* send anything alcoholic, though, because I don't think I can mail that without some kind of license, and depending on your country, you might need one to import it by mail. So don't send me any Absolute and I'll hang onto the sake.

I'll discuss stuff openly and aswer questions about available products in here. But all deals worked out via PM, since addresses will be involved. In order to protect my voulnerable ass, I not offering to do this with anyone who hasn't been a member for a while, and/or whom I haven't seen posting around much or at all. Need to know you're legit and all.

Stuff:
-Investigate shipping to Japan, of, say, a package containing several cans (or plastic bottles) of pop and some padding.
-I'll do the same for your location.
-We send each other packages of comparable awesomeness. Just tell me what you want.
-Please be patient. I'll only be able to get to the post office to check prices on one day a week, so requests can't be investigated immediately in most cases. Sorry :/
-The Final Fantasy VII Potion is no longer available, sorry.

Let me know what you'd like to try from Japan smile.gif

Some of the better Japanese drinks, off the toppa my head:
Mitsuya Cider:

CC Lemon:

Pocari Sweat (sports drink)

Vrious flavors of Qoo, mostly Apple, Orange, and Vegetable

Calpis water: and Calpis soda:

Ramune:

Wasabi Ramune:

Curry Ramune:

Melon Cream Soda:

(Locally, this is only available in 1.5 liter bottles)

No picture available:
-White grape soda/juice hybrid thing with huge-ass chunks of grapes in it.
-Mango pudding soda
-"Nihon no Saidaa" (comparable to Mitsuya, bu a little different)

Oh and we still have Pepsi Twist here, which was discontinued in America a few years ago:
Voyou San
i would be game to do this, just tell me exactlly what you want besides the good ol' dew..

ill reasearch some stuff i might want, Qoo looks good, but can you mabye explain what each of these might taste like at all? or something over here they are comparible to?
Souls
Yeah! I'm so down! I'll even send say, like food(that will hold of course) if you want! I love doing these kinds of things! I never even knew that Pepsi Twist was discontinued here. I loved it! I prefer coke, and I think they still have Coke with lemon, so it's not that big of a deal. XD

Wasabi and Curry flavored Ramune? >xPP

Btw, do they still have Cucumber Flavored Pepsi? I've wanted to try that so badly!

Verner
This has the potential to be very awesome. I'm up for sending you some dew. I'll find out how much it would cost to send you the stuff, at which point I'll be able to decide if I can do such a thing, lol.

EDIT: Any preference on brand of cream soda? I know Jones has some good stuff.

ohmy.gif You bastards! Haha. I was in love with that stuff back in the day. I think we've only got it in Diet these days. (Which tastes pretty much like regular Diet Pepsi.) dry.gif

If I had a job, and met the requirements for this, I would totally hook you up with the new Mountain Dews and whatnot. Unfortunately, this is not the case. I've always wanted to try many of the drinks over there, though. Shucks. *kicks invisible can* Guess I'll have to eventually settle for the overpriced Ramune around here.

Best of luck with getting some stuff, though. Especially the new Dews, since the voting ends soon. =x Sorry I can't help you out.
Verner
I've been calling around trying to get an estimate on how much it would cost. It's definitely not out of my price range, so I'll go ahead and grab some stuff for ya.

Any preference on the new Mountain Dew stuff? Or do you want to try all three flavors?

EDIT: I've been here a while, but my post count isn't too high, lol. You can ask the regulars to vouch for me though (Athrun/Hiku, TED, Eva, Rhad/Specter/Vinsfeld/Tony etc.), if you're on the fence about it or anything. I've sent stuff to a couple Dreamers before (Alazuli being one, I can't remember the other person for the life of me though), so you've really got nothing to worry about it from me, lol.

With that mentioned, a note for Bomb: Voltage (raspberry citrus) is dominating the US, so that seems to be the winner. (It's been like that for a while now.) So that one'll be sticking around, which is more than I can say for the other two. Just something to keep in mind. Dunno if you're the type to try to stock up before it's all gone, heh.

Luckily I can get a lot of this stuff from "The Japan Centre" in London (I love that shop, but it's supply is still limited) but if there are any UK drinks you are craving or wanting to try out, then I'll look into shipping and stuff. I'm interested but I'm not sure what I'll have to offer.

I saw the Melon Cream Soda (Although at the time my reading was terrible and I stood in the shop speaking out loud to myself "me-ron-ku-ri-mu-so-da" before exclaiming rather louder "AHHH! Melon Cream Soda!" <.< in shop full of japanese people... thus why I quickly put it back down and hid.) Is it any good? I wonder if it's like UK cream soda or American or something completely different.
OST
I'm up for this too.
My post count is definitely not as high as it should be after 5 years of being around here but I'm sure there are older Dreamers that shall vouch for me.
Apple and Tony and Hiku come to mind.
I also used to be Flare Kid.
If that helps at all?
I've looked into shipping stuff to Japan before and I can afford it.
Jones Cream Soda is something I'd recommend to you.
I can also get you some Dew if that's what you're after.
But like Voyou said, could you describe what any of these tastes like?
Turtle Smasher
i want some qoo. ill send whatev u want. pm me?

Something my wife (who is infinitely smarter than me) brought up is that you US peeps might not be able to use the US postal service, it might have to be someone like Fed-Ex International or UPS International.

I know I've imported soda within the US before, but the last time was at least 2 years ago and they're superparanoia is constantly growing, so stuff might have changed. I'll have to ask someone here what's up with importing and exporting stuff, cause I don't wanna have anyone spend a combined $25 or something for their drinks + shipping only to get it returned, and have the same thing happen to me too. That'd suck for everyone. So let's make sure we've got this figured out solid before we truck on. For reasons above, it might take me till Monday to figure this out. >_<
OST
That definitely is a good point.
I live in Canada and come to think of it, I'm not sure I can ship liquids with the normal postal service.
At least, when I did Operation Christmas Child I had to take them out?
I dunno about that.
I'll look into it for Canada.
I got myself all excited about this and I'd rather not be disappointed when it returns to me, as Bomb said.
Verner
Yeah, I called shipping company to get an estimate, and the lady on the other end of the phone was nice enough to check on how to get the shipment to you best, as well as the cheapest route possible (she mentioned US Postal possibly being the best route). I'm supposed to get a call back tomorrow, so I'll let you know what's best for us US people as soon as I find out.
Razael
I would totally be up for this, just for a taste of Melon Cram Soda and that Lemon drink looks badass.

But hell, what can i send you? Fanta?

Noir
That is an.. oddly shaped bottle.
