Yeah, ska isn't a popular taste and I might catch some mockery, but whatever, I love it. smile.gif

My favorite ska band Streetlight Manifesto hadn't released a new album in like 5 years or something but finally did last fall. I was finally able to snag a copy.

IT'S LIKE I'M BEING CHASED THROUGH THE STREETS OF HONG KONG BY HELICOPTER-PILOT NINJAS WITH MACHINE GUNS THAT FIRE BEARS.

Track 1 is downloadable for free on the record label's website at this link:

The whole thing is solid, if you like fast rock with a horn section. I do <3

Streetlight Manifesto is one of the best bands out there, period. You have good taste sir.

Have you ever knocked on wood? Because I know someone who has.

For some strange reason I've never listened to a whole album... however I do have "Everything Went Numb" that I heard randomly and fell in love and it's been listened to often ever since. Anyway, the free song is really good.

My favourite "Ska" band without a doubt is "The Display Team" (Formally known as Mumrah) who have a huge dose of Mr Bungle Added. You should check them out if you like ska;

I definitely dig Streetlight, and some ska in general, though I'm not sure I've heard anything recent by them. Haven't really been in the mood for ska (or anything similar) for quite a while now. Nevertheless, Streetlight Manifesto is definitely good stuff.
