I used the search function four times and it brought back nothing so if there's already a topic about this my apologies but blame the forum lol! Other than what was mentioned in the Atlus announcement thread I've never heard of it before but looks pretty damn cool from what I've seen.

So more Atlus PS2 RPG goodness then. According to Play Asia it's getting a release around November time -

P4, AT2 and now this, the PS2 is still alive and kicking.

The PS2 just won't die, will it? I haven't seen any gameplay of this game til now, it looks pretty rad. The CGI is very impressive for a PS2 game. Hopefully it'll come out in the UK. The PSŁ is region free anyway right?

It's only region free for PS3 games bro which is a shame. I'm lucky because I grabbed a US PS3 but I did use Swap Magic before that. Atlus have been pretty good in finding publishers in Europe with all their other releases though so we should get it smile.gif

Damn it haha, I should have imported >_< It was a christmas present though, and I'm not sure my parents would have understood the need haha. You're right though, mos tof their games seem to make it here ^^ I'm really impressed with those graphics though, those guys have have the PS2 so nailed down after all the games they've done on it.
Dragon Brigade
Never heard of this game before, but I'm sold. Atlus hasn't let me down yet. =P. My PS2 has, but not Atlus. I'll probably be getting this game.
Bomb
Man I thought we had a thread about it already but I guess not. Here's stuff from back in November of last year when it was first announced:

Because the console is still quite powerful, they will likely keep putting stuff on it for as long as the PS2 remains in production(not long til they stop I think).

So far..I need a PSP and now a new PS2 lol. I'm having a hard time keeping up with these releases.

Haha!! Parents eh! To be honest importing caused me more trouble than it was worth. That's an awesome gift from your parents though fair play. Region free PS3 games is still cool, and at least we won't have to wait 10 months or so for games like FFXIII to get a PAL release smile.gif Yeah, you're right about the cut scenes they look really smart. We may have to wait a while but I think Atlus will get it out over here.
PAL RPGamer
How the hell have I not heard of this game before today!!!
Linking the CG and character design - for some reason am being reminded of Suikoden Tactics but not entirely sure why. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for the english screenshots from now on.
OK so this has just been added to the list of games I've got to get hold of before the end of the year - I am so glad I took this job over the summer what with these recent announcements - now i've just got to work out how i'm going to be able to play the damn thing...
Hyoushitsu
I hate the end of the year. There's always a few too many good release that I'm interested in. Always have to end up letting a couple go.

I remember something about this game a little while ago, but I didn't really pay much attention to it. Which is odd, considering Atlus has a ridiculously good track record with me.

Looks awesome, but this one might be one that I have to let go.... :\

But eh, since the release date isn't even out yet, who knows. It may not be outside of Japan for quite a while.

I don't remember a Poison Pink topic. I remember reading about the game a number of months ago. So, have you played it yet, Bomb?

Anyway, I can't say I'm surprised by the announcement. I thought Atlus was making an announcement regarding this game when they made another announcement. I'll likely pick it up when it's released.
Sigs Minock
so, what's the story, and the story behind this game? was it developed by Atlus, as opposed to being distributed by Atlus? [Baroque was distributed by Atlus and that game sucked]...

With Persona 4 coming around Xmas, i'll pass on that one for now...
Voyou San
man those trailers look sick... looking good for a ps2 release and dammit another game i want
LunarMaster
Man the gameplay does look damn good. I'm always down for a strategy RPG.

How am I to expect Atlus and their developers to make titles that will really even stand out on the PS3? I'm not too worried that they're still putting out titles on the PS2.

I'll buy it. I loves SPRG's for breakfast.

As for the PS2 going strong... 10 year life span, people.

Oh, dammit.

No surprise there. Hopefully I'll be able to get it somewhere down the line. But there's bound to be so few prints of the game that it'll fade into obscurity after two months. :\

Ah well.
Nash
Definitely getting this. Kinda wish they'd choose the artbook from the JP release instead of the sample soundtrack CD, but oh well.

I thought that Atlus decided that this game will have artbook and soundtrack CD even outside of Japan. But nevertheless, the game looks sweet and I'll probably get a hold of this game as soon as it comes out.
Dragon Brigade
It should come with an art book as well...

Voyou San
the preorder at gamestop gives you the artbook and the soundtrack
Nash
That's the hard part. Damn, why won't they just bundle the whole thing together instead of going through this preorder business. It's not like they even produce that many copies of the game in the first place.

Between this, Persona 4 and Luminous Arc 2, I might just go broke long before year end! wub.gif
