anything jap-RPGs i'm missing? any other good rpgs not on my list ENGLISH ONLY please

I haven't played any of these, but I've been interested in them (some of them I actually own as well):


Shadow of Destiny: By Konami. Basically it's about a guy who is murdered, so he goes back in time to possibly prevent his murder, or something like that. Many endings, I think.

Rule of Rose: By Atlus...I think? Can't remember the specifics, but I think that's another game about someone being murdered. Involves a dog in it, too. Yeah.

Maximo: Ghosts to Glory: Capcom. Haven't actually played this yet, but I've heard a lot of good things about it. Apparently very overlooked. If you get this one, then there's also the sequel;

Maximo vs. Army of Zin.

X-Men Legends 2: Rise of the Apocalypse: Because TED says it's a good game.

Mana Khemia: Alchemist of Al-Revis: By NIS.

Suikoden V. You've got all the others, but I didn't see this on the bottom list, so I'm assuming you just forgot to add it or something.


I can't remember any of the others I've been looking into, but there were a lot. I have no idea at all if some of these *are* really good, but they're rpgs that are supposedly decent. Not that that really helps...>.o.

Decent collection you're building up there bro. If you hate the X-Men then yeah, perhaps you should scratch Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance 1 and 2 off there they have pretty similar gameplay mechanics.

Games you may want to grab

Final Fantasy XII
Stella Deus - a SRPG that seems to have love/hate stigma attached to it.
Okami - Not really an RPG but definitely something that should be tried.

Shadow Of Destiny as mentioned by DB is decent although it's a graphic adventure not an RPG so I don't know if that will appeal to you.
Suikoden 5 (also mentioned by DB) is a must have RPG.

im definatley going to complete all my series' im just trying to get the games Rare ones first and then common ones last, i cant beleive how rare Xenosaga 3 is, thank god the store down the street from me has like 3 copies BRAND NEW still, better go snatch one.

Suikoden V (As mentioned by DB and cloudycat)--You have the other three for the PS2, so why not get the fourth one. Plus, it is a great game, so you can't lose.

Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis--I actually never played the game, so I can't really give much for info. My friend has it though, so I have seen game play of the game and it looks fun. It was developed by Gust/NIS America (I don't know if they are the same company) and their shelf life isn't that long, so it may be hard to find a copy. There is a deluxe box version.

Chaos Wars--If you are a fan of strategy RPGs, then this game may interest you. It has a bunch of cameos from games developed by Atlus, NIS, the company that did Shadow Hearts (not Midway, but the developing company. Yuri and Alice make an appearance) and there is one more company, but I can't remember the name of the company.
