rarest rpg's from Ps2/xbox/gamecube and up


I know SMT: Nocturne is kinda rare, but i think its now outshadowed by Digital Devil Saga

beleive it or not i beleive the game EverGrace has become rare, despite being a launch title, i live in miami and visited tons of stores and NEVER see this game with the case, so the disc may be common but to find it complete is a rarity now.

Virtua Quest for Ps2 and Gamecube are very rare as well, super low numbers produced.

Really? I saw it at a used game store for about $11...I'd have thought it'd be more expensive than that for being rare. Or maybe it's not as good. Or something.

I have no idea about other rare games though.

Shadow Hearts 1 and 2 are becoming hard to get lately.

Ar Tonelico was hard to come by at one point but they re-released it recently although I did read that version was supposed to be limited too. A new copy of the special edition will set you back a bit though if you'd rather have that.

Shadow Hearts 1 was pretty difficult to get a hold of(mine was pre-owned on ebay) but I didn't have a problem getting SH 2 it's being sold brand new on VGPlus.

Xenosaga 3 like DDS 1 is obtainable but is getting quite pricey. Although cheap compared to the average UK game prices.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind - Game Of The Year Edition

There's nothing rare that I can think of on the current gen consoles unless you count Tales Of Eternia and Breath Of fire 3 on the PSP which were out in Europe but never released in the US.

World of Warcraft Collector's Edition and the Burning Crusade Collector's Edition.
Considering the limited release, for promotional values, plus the high market, this is a game that is hard to get.
The normal version are available everywhere you look, but the promotional packages are nearly impossible to get.

It is shown on e-bay every now and then and people want this, because it allows you to get a unique pet monster in World of Warcraft, a thing appreciated by many players.
However, the risk is that the code has already been used and thus renders it pretty much useless.

I have a dreamcast haha and the rarest RPG i got for that is the original Skies of Arcadia!! Also for the Sega Saturn, I have a mint copy of Shining Force 3. Woot!

I hate you. I still regret selling my Saturn to this day. I miss hours of Saturn Bomberman, and now they have translations for SF 3 parts 2 and 3 ( Have for awhile ) so I could have played those as well.

Patches, they have PD and Sc2 done. Think they're finishing Sc3.

Can you even get parts 2 and 3 in North America? Cause our electronic code is NTSC and Euro is PAL. Would that even work at all?

How did that game end anyway ahah. I know Julian comes back in the 2nd or 3rd scenario. And you play as the prince at one point. It was a deadly game. Noon was my favorite character.

Growlanser Generations (just came out i think but very few copies were made)

both my friend, i want to have them all so i can play them at my leisure, i'd rather hunt them down now and play them with my mind at peace later, currently playing Devil Summoner on ps2
