Apparently Bioware have stated that they would like to bring some of their existing titles to the Nintendo DS. They also stated that they had some big ideas for Mass Effect for the DS and that it would be a good way of keeping interest available for the Xbox 360 sequel so this could well come true.

Weird. Too bad they're not coming out on the PSP.

I could definitely see a spin off ME working well as some sort of point and click graphic adventure (especially since the dialogue system reminds me of graphic adventures anyway) with some RPG elements, I'm not sure how else they'd work it.

From what I've heard, PSP dev kits are pretty expensive. DS is by far the cheapest platform to develop on.

I'm guessing Bioware is doing ME since they have been working on the Sonic RPG and know how to work the DS by now.

Bioware want to crack the DS market; Hence Sonic Chronicles. Perhaps a Mass Effect RPG since it is Bioware. That would be awesome, especially as the DS cannot really do super amazing graphics like the PSP. Turn bassed maybe.

Sounds great. The sonic rpg looks excellent, and the DS is a great platform, so I'm glad to see they're sold on it ^^
