Personally I'm guessing this is another installment type thing like Quest for Booty rather than a full-blown thing (which they could do as well), simply because they say the "Quest" continues. >.>. But whatever. More Ratchet is fine, whatever form.

So, what happens after you beat the 3-4 hours of adventuring to be found in the upcoming Quest for Booty? Well, you'll get a tease for yet another Ratchet & Clank adventure in Fall 2009! The series looks to be turning into an annual affair -- but will it be yet another small taste of R&C, or will it be a full-length feature, a la Tools of Destruction?

Over a year's wait? I personally would bet it'd be a proper game oppose to one of these downloadable installments if thats how long we're waiting. I wouldn't be suprised if they'd been working on the sequel ever since they finished the first and the d/l is made up of cast-off levels XD this is wishful thinking speaking anyway, I've been playing ToD quite a bit today, and I forgot how much it rocks (and how good it looks).

They've got the original down on the Platinum list I tried the demo and liked it so it'll be future purchase for me and believe me that's not like me to bother with a platform game of this kind. The game looks almost like a damn Pixar movie the graphics are absolutely stunning. I think this is the title that shows how much untapped potential the PS3 has and will have. It's the sort of game you can pop into your PS3 and say 'check this out' to show off to the boys lol!

So it's good news, and with a Fall/Winter 09 release it definitely sounds like a proper sequel in the works.

Wow, I didn't realise you didn't have ToD yet dude, I'd definetely make that a priority, especially with the £20 or cheaper price tag. I've been splitting my time today between this and FFIX (which I also forgot was superb) and its just so damn good. You're right about the graphics too, I think I initially failed to register how good they are simply because when vwe think amazing, we think realistic generally, whereas this is, as you said, much like a disney or pixar release. Really do go for it though ^^
