Okay so I'm eyeing Chaos Wars, and I just wanted to know if it's like P3 (a japanese rpg worth getting) or should I just pass it like I should have with La Pucelle Tactics?
Athrun
It's nothing like P3, and at the same time there are a lot of japanese rpg's worth getting, so I'm not sure what you mean. I think Chaos Wars is a pretty mediocre game. For me it's fun to get to know all the characters and different games, but there are better tactical rpg's out there. Not to mention rpg's in general. I'd rather recommend Mana Khemia. Great game. Excellent battle system, and also has a form of social links, although not as fleshed out as in Persona 3.
Unless you are set on a tactics game, in which case I guess NIS games is the way to go.

Lol, you can't compare Chaos Wars to P3 in any way. As Athrun said, it's just a mediocre game similar to games like Disgaea but much worse if you ask me. I would also like to recommend Mana Khemia or Atelier Iris series.

I figured as much I shouldn't compare the two, what I meant was if it was Japanese RPG worth picing up, considering so many come out but aren't really worth picking up. Well I'm gonna give it a try, I could always refund it if I don't like it.

Cuz... I never played Disgaea before cry.gif cry.gif In anycase, it's pretty fun, but I missed recruiting a few characters already (just one really). I'll beat it through, if I don't thoroughly enjoy it to the end, I'll just return it.
