I've been getting into this series lately, and now I'm totally hooked. I only watched a couple of episodes from Season 1. Mainly the last few, so I know of the major events that ended the first season. And I've watched from about episode 2 or 3 and up to 9 now of Season 2. Best moment so far. "I own you." *headbut* The evil anti-hero with a dual identity is something I like (no doubt part of Death Note's charm), and it's entertaining to watch him in action, both when he's trying to avoid getting caught, and when he's out cleaning up the streets. And the intro is just brilliant.

Anyone else watching?

Oh god yes I'm watching smile.gif I F**king love this series. The acting is superb especially from Michael C. Hall who plays Dexter his narration is also perfect, but everyone is spot on in the series. I love SGT Doakes though (by the way I think if anyone should play Mr T in the modern update of the A-Team it should be him haha!) they've got to have a proper fight scene at some point and Masuka is hilarious everyone knows someone like him biggrin.gif I can't recommend this series enough and I actually prefer it to the book. My only complaint is we've had to wait a while for season 2 to get aired on FX and avoiding spoilers can be hard but I've managed so far lol!

I know you know the major events from the original but I'd definitely try and watch it from the beginning when you get the chance it's well worth it. I don't know if you have a multi region dvd player but the R1 version of season 1 is less than half the price of the R2 version - does PLAY.com ship to the Netherlands?
Athrun
Well since I live in Sweden, I wouldn't know if they ship to the Netherlands. lol I think my DVD is R2 though.
I'll try to check out Season 1 as well, but right now I just feel like watching the next episode whenever a new one ends, you know? I also like Dexters acting and narrating. Most of the characters are pretty entertaining. Masuka makes me laugh at the most random times.

But since I don't know when I'll watch Season 1, I have a question. Why does Dexter keep those blood slides?

Dexter is an awesome series, but I have yet to watch season 2 and the new season 3.
Lost Seraphim
I haven't taken the time to check out the source novels by Jeff Lindsay, but I fell for the series pretty quickly myself. Flawed anti-heroes are my kryptonite, and the overall mood and premise just struck all the right chords.

I love the cat and mouse struggle they share, haha.

The season two finale wrapped up a majority of the loose ends, and from what I've read concerning season three, it's going to be another interesting cascade of events.
Athrun
Well I just finished watching Season 2, and I wasn't aware that Season 3 hasn't started yet, so I guess I'll start on Season 1 soon.
I guess those blood slides were kept as trophies, but I think it's a dangerous risk to his number one rule.
Season 2 ended pretty nicely. But it was pretty similar to Season 1 in many ways, so I hope they come up with a more different concept next time.

Dexter is a very good show. I lost track of it during the first season but I'll get back on the saddle eventually.
The Evil Dead
I liked it until about halfway through the first season and then I lost interest. Something about Dexter's character and the characters on the show started to annoy me.

Give meh House.
